
Application should be completed early enough to give time for visa processing. Admission documents include the following:
- A completed Application for Admission form.
- Two copies of one-inch square pictures.
- An original transcript of all college and other credits previously earned, including date of graduation.
- A certificate of medical examination and chest x-ray result of each applicant and every child in the family over ten years old.
- A church recommendation form filled out and signed by the pastor and church secretary after the church has voted to do so. The applicant must have been an active member for the past one year. This recommendation must be by vote of the congregation and not just from the pastor and/or church secretary.
- A computer printed statement relating the applicant's personal conversion, Christian service, and call into the fulltime Christian ministry.
- Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam result for applicants non-English speaking countries. It will determine the degree program one is qualified to undertake based on the following scale:

After an applicant is approved, he/she should work on his travel documents. PBTS has been authorized to accept foreign students per Order AAFS No. ADD03-011 of the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation, February 07, 2003. We prefer that students come on Student Visa (9F). Below are the requirements and procedure in applying for Student (9F) Visa through PBTS. You will prepare these carefully and send them to us as soon as possible. We will then submit these to the Department of Foreign Affairs, together with the other requirements which the office prepare. Processing of visa by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) takes about two to three months. Secure the following documents:
- Five (5) copies of the Revised Original Personal History Statement duly accomplished and signed by the applicant in English and in the applicant's national language, accompanied by personal seal, if any, with original left and right thumb prints and original photos;
- Transcript of records / scholastic records, duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in the applicant's country of origin or legal residence. "SEEN and NOTED" stamp is not acceptable;
- A Notarized and Authenticated Affidavit of Support as proof of adequate financial support to cover expenses for student's accommodation and subsistence, school fees and other incidental expenses.
- Photocopy of passport pages where name, photo, birthdate, and birthplace appear; and
- Police Clearance issued by the national police authorities in the student's country of origin or legal residence, authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post having consular jurisdiction over the place.
In addition to the documents submitted to the DFA, the student shall submit the following requirements to the Consular Office at the Philippine Foreign Service Post in his/her country upon notice of interview:
- ORIGINAL copy of the school's Notice of Acceptance (NOA) containing a clear impression of the school's dry seal, addressed to the student;
- Medical Health Certificate issued by an authorized physician including a standard-size chest x-ray.
Applicants who are already in the country on Tourist or Temporary Visitor's Visa may apply for a change of visa if they want to enroll at PBTS. The following are the documents needed:
- Proof of Adequate Financial Support to cover expenses for the student's accommodation and subsistence, as well as school dues and other incidental expenses, duly authenticated by the Philippine Consulate located in the applicant's country of origin or legal residence;
- Scholastic Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Consulate located in the applicant's country of origin or legal residence;
- Police Clearance Certificate issued by the National Police Authorities in the applicant's country of origin duly authenticated by the Philippine Consulate located in the applicant's country of origin. In addition, an applicant who has already resided in the Philippines for more than 59 days shall also be required to submit the Philippine National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance;
- Quarantine Medical Clearance Certificate by the National Quarantine Office (in San Fernando, La Union);
- Copy of the applicant's Personal History Statement signed by the applicant with a 2x2-inch photograph recently taken;
- Two copies of 2x2-inch photos; and
- Xerox copy of the photo, data, and the stamp of the latest arrival pages of the passport of the applicant. The passport itself shall be presented to the Bureau of Immigration an Deportation (BID).
Upon approval of the student (9F) visa, PBTS will inform the student to go to the Bureau of Immigration, Manila for having an Electronic Card fingerprinting for Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR).
